Product Storage

To maintain product integrity and effectiveness:

Product Classification

InstaPeel is classified as a light chemical peel designed to promote controlled exfoliation and skin renewal.

Warnings, precautions, and usage guidelines are based on this level of treatment intensity. InstaPeel is formulated as a professional cosmetic product and is not regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a drug.

All treatments using InstaPeel are performed at the sole discretion and professional responsibility of the licensed provider.

Warnings

Do not use InstaPeel under the following conditions:

  • On cold sores or active herpes simplex lesions

  • On active acne breakouts with infection

  • On infected, inflamed, or broken skin

  • On individuals with known allergies to lactic acid, dairy derivatives, or resorcinol

  • On patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Within 6 months of isotretinoin (Accutane) use

Additional warnings:

  • For external use only. Do not ingest.

  • Avoid contact with the eyes, mucous membranes, and sensitive areas.

  • If eye contact occurs, rinse immediately with copious amounts of water.

  • Product may cause temporary skin irritation or respiratory sensitivity in some individuals.

  • Certain components may be corrosive to metals.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

Neutralizer Safety Warning

The InstaPeel Neutralizer is an alkaline formulation designed to stop acid activity during treatment.

Improper use or application outside the intended protocol may result in skin irritation or burns. The neutralizer should only be used in conjunction with the InstaPeel system and according to the provided treatment instructions.

Treatment Precautions

Providers should follow appropriate professional judgment and patient screening prior to performing treatment.

Sun Exposure

Patients should:

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure before and after treatment

  • Use a broad-spectrum SPF daily

  • Follow post-treatment sun protection protocols

Additional Treatment Restrictions

To reduce risk of irritation or complications, patients should avoid the following treatments immediately before and after InstaPeel procedures:

  • Electrolysis

  • Waxing

  • Depilatory creams

  • Hair dyeing treatments

Retinoids & Active Ingredients

Patients should discontinue use of the following at least two weeks before and after treatment:

  • Tretinoin

  • Retinoids

  • High-percentage exfoliating acids (AHAs/BHAs)

  • Other aggressive resurfacing products

Licensed professionals are responsible for:

  • Performing proper patient consultation and skin assessment

  • Determining whether InstaPeel is appropriate for each individual

  • Following all professional treatment protocols and safety guidelines
